Overfill Prevention & Grounding Systems

Hassann Al Manaei Trading L.L.C use Scully’s core systems for overfill prevention. It includes the overfill prevention, retained product monitoring, vehicle grounding, level alert notification, and vehicle to terminal communications. Other related and more recent inventions include remote fuel site communications, delivery equipment, tank gauging, transfer line and hose connections, and automated fueling systems.

Intellitrol™

Scully’s Intellitrol System is the most advanced terminal overfills prevention and ground verification system available today. Intellitrol is the culmination of over30 years of experience in electronic overfill prevention control.

 

 

 

Multiple Point Liquid Level Detection System

The ST-15 WX System provides three to twelve sensing points. A relay contact output is provided for each sensing point. The weatherproof enclosure is suited for outdoor (or indoor) mounting of the controller in a safe area.
Scully’s Electronic Storage Tank Faylsafe® Overfill Prevention and Liquid Level Control Systems provide Dynamic Self-Checking® monitoring of, and overfill alarms for, storage tanks. Scully Storage Tank Systems also provide for the capability of controlling pumps and valves for immediate and automatic shutdown of product flow.

Groundhog™

Don’t let unsure grounding methods leave you guessing. Transport vehicles should be properly tied to ground before and during the loading operation. There should never be any doubt that the grounding systems at your terminals are performing their proper function. Many systems give you little assurance of their operation. The Scully Groundhog™ gives you complete assurance that a proper ground tie-in is present. The Groundhog™ is a self-proving grounding system for maximum safety in loading operations.

IntelliCheck 2™

Scully’s IntelliCheck® System is the most advanced secondary overfill protection and retained product monitoring system in tank truck loading operations. Featuring Dynacheck®- automatic and continuous self-checking circuitry, the controller, wiring, connections and sensors are checked for faults up to30 times per second. Only IntelliCheck offers system diagnostics this extensive.

Sculcon® Series Junction Box

Sculcon® Plug and Cable units are used to connect a loading rack’s overfill monitoring and static grounding system to vehicle mounted overfill sensing systems. They are designed for use only with the intrinsically safe output circuits of Scully’s Biclops® , Biclops II, Biclops-III, ST-35, ST-15 and Intellitrol®

ScuL-Sense Five-Wire Optic Sensor™

Scully’s five-wire optic sensors are purpose-built for liquid petroleum product overfill prevention and point level detection. They are designed to be used with the Scully Intellitrol® and ST-35 series loading rack control monitors. The sensors can also be used with the Scully IntelliCheck® II Monitor or Scully Load Anywhere® Truck Monitor. There is no waiting for the control monitors’ permit light to go on because the sensor requires no warm up time. Overfill prevention applications include road tankers, rail cars and storage tanks.

Two-Wire Optic Sensor

Ground Ball

Compatible with Scully Stand Alone ST-47 Groundhog System
The Groundhog’s™ intelligent monitoring capabilities and the special electronic circuitry inside the Scully Ground Ball and Ground Bolt form a self-proving system. No manual checks are needed. Only the Scully Groundhog™ can provide you with the safest and most dependable means for vehicle static grounding. It maintains the integrity of your loading operation. The Groundhog™ can be used as a completely independent system. This system is ideal for top loading or applications where a Scully Overfill Prevention System is not in use. The control monitor connects to a heavy duty Sculcon® junction box with attached cable and special quick release snap-on plug. The Scully Ground Plug connects to a specially designed electronic Scully Ground Ball mounted on each vehicle. The controller in conjunction with the ground ball provides and verifies vehicle grounding before loading can begin. The controller must receive an electronic return signal from the ball throughout the loading operation.

Sockets

Scully Sockets are the most durable vehicle connections available for your loading needs offering compatibility at any terminal. The sockets mount on the truck and are wired to Optic, Thermistor, or Instant-On tank truck overfills prevention sensors manufactured by Scully. The sockets are available in Scully, API and SAE styles. These sockets are compatible with all overfill prevention rack plug and cable units in use today.

Scully Plug & Cable Assemblies

Scully plugs are made of heavy duty molded polyurethane with stainless steel contacts. The fuel resistant cables are available in 30′ coiled or 20′ straight styles. Scully plugs and cables are the product of years of industry experience and offer durable, efficient operation. They are designed for use only with the intrinsically safe output circuits of Scully’s ST-35, ST-15 and Intellitrol®. Scully Plugs and Cables are used to connect the Scully loading rack control monitor to the vehicle mounted socket. The plugs and cables are the pathways for the control unit/sensor signals which monitor the status of overfill prevention, electro-static grounding and vehicle identification during loading operations.

 

Universal Truck Tester

Scully’s Universal Truck Tester is the most advanced and comprehensive truck tester available. It checks the operation of tank truck overfill prevention, and self-proving grounding systems. Complete diagnostics limit the expense of downtime. The tester is compatible with Scully Intellicheck® Load Anywhere®, and independent Scully optic and thermister tank truck sensors.
